As the one-third of my actual game was demolished because of a small construction error @ only one town, I wished to make a remix more, under the light of the last growths and lessons learned, as always by the hard way.
My aim is to put "all I can do" in this actual Game.
I realized with great fun and plaesure that in each remake, the discovery and exploration of the "never charted lands" of the Game is added to the "experience stash".. that creates in its turn the desire to explore more... and the circle continues.!
"The parameters or modules are already numerous (horizontal progress)...
and every module is to discover and develop in itself (vertical progress)..."
And once the player immerged to the vast ocean of firstly >> discover the correlations between >> And then to refine them.. This long progress of optimization guarantees the longevity and short / long term motivation.. either for solo/multi Gameplay..or wished good numbers of sales.. I am in great esteem, appreciation and confidence to all respectable creative minds in this new project, and I wished them best success..
Because of this long and full of fun gameplay lasted for nearly 10 years, in every time I shared my fun to the other friends, they partially became the players of Pat 3 also.. By the way, I may make buy at least 10 to 12 legal copies of the Pat 3 to my 'friends at court'... At Patrizier Online, I once founded a faction named (* Turkish Circle *) with more than 20 real members that played online together..
So a trade simulation may be profitable, and especially @ long term.. But in the making of this progress, the decision-maker is wished not to choose the easy / familiar way.. "Hunting" the eventual buyer with gorgeous(?) graphics.. This is 'Hunting by blinding the prey'...
This is exactly to say: " But we need those 3D graphics to be able to sell well(?) the Game".. Did/do you think a bit more on the sub/meaning of this approach? Firstly, this is even not guaranteed good sales even with 3D. Secondly, if decision maker put "3D" in front of a good Concept (pretext: no sufficient time for in-depth Concept, we will look it for Add-On; after seeing firstly the sales report).. it may reduce / kill its own possibility of a good Add-On, because of this first approach, as the sales may/risk/will not be satisfactory, to justify the creation of Add-On/s..
I must accept that it is now too late to discuss this 3D decision.. What's done is done.. But I am for a very good Concept, stratch from the beginning for Patrician 4. I also accept that this Game must be at shelves in the eve of Christmas. So the days are numbered.
If some players are praying for limitation or elimination of "kapern" with a motif of this practice unbalanced the Game .. >>> the decision-makers also must limit or exclude those "player kapern" by pointing blinding flash lights in the eventual players' eyes... As very humbly saying: "Neither some decision-makers are this intelligent, nor gaming communities are this dumb.."
