Ugh! While I have not yet worked on a commentary for the new contest I’ll catch up with the 1301 save of the winner of the last two contests. To be faced with the work of the perfectionist led, in spite of the achievement in prior years, to utter amazement. This year it’s not maximum citizens but maximized satisfaction.
Straight 6 across all social groups leads to high satisfaction points. In contrast is the population, which, in comparison to last year, amounts to 900 less per town.
In the central hub Gothenburg are almost all goods in sufficient quantities. Exceptions are honey and the well-known goods (meat/leather) that are very scarce. Whale oil is not in surplus. On the other hand, John maintains almost daily service to the Med, which ensures that cloth and wine are available in huge quantities, much to the delight of the wealthy and rich.
After the recognition of the NPT Memel Ugh! did not wait a day to undertake the founding of the next NPT. Newcastle already has more than 1,000 citizens and, with hardly anything else built, the wall is almost completed. The entire Hanse does not have many businesses; the daily production is 2,057 barrels.
We are waiting with bated breath to see what the man with the honorary title will make form this year’s challenge. The start suits the self-proclaimed “slow starter” and this save is a must-see for any player with ambitions.

Rote Korsar He prepares himself already at noon of New Year’s Eve for the party. Is fleet of 5 ships are idly at anchor in this home town. Even the AI seems to avoid going to see before the change of the years and 5 ships are undergoing repairs in London
Some trade must have been happening during the last year since building permit have been issued between March 23 and March 30, 1301.
The sole source of income are two contract pirates who report regularly. The own buccaneering efforts were only marginally successful. John LeBlund was convicted 5 times for piracy and had to pay hefty fines and/or was banned from trade for 13 weeks.
In spite of an anti-expansionist strategy the Rote Korsar reached contest relevant points of which others, who are expanding their Hanse, could only dream of.
